I always wanted to go to Mount Bromo. When one of my photomate friend, Rey, told us that he's going to bring his guests from USA to Bromo, I straightaway told Rey, I would like to follow (in the end, Robert, my other photomate friend, also joined). It will be just a weekend trip, from 15 July until 17 July 2017. This was another spontaneous trip.

I arrived in Surabaya with SQ around 10 am. There were 5 of us, Rey, Robert, myself and Rey's friend from USA, Rick and Marry. We drove from Surabaya to Bromo. We arrived in Bromo about late afternoon. It was cold over there. We checked in to our hotel and just viewed the surrounding. The sun was so glorious. Its ray of lights through the clouds was just amazing! After dinner, we tried to look for Milky Way, but it was too cloudy, so we headed back to our room. The next day, we had to wake up 2.30 am, our jeep picked us up at 3 am. We went to Bukit King Kong (King Kong Hill) to wait for the sunrise. After that, we rode a horse, and we hiked to Mount Bromo crater. It was quite tiring to climb up. But it was a great experience to see the crater. The sound from inside the mother earth was so loud, sounded like a helicopter.

to be continued....
